The Ward33a Teenage Cancer Trust unit at Leeds General Infirmary was opened  in May 2010.

Teenage Cancer Trust fund 2 expert staff at the unit:

  • Nurse Consultant for Leeds and Humber
  • Youth Support Coordinator

They ensure the best possible quality care is given so that the young person is treated as a young person first and cancer patient second.

  • There are also 4 single en-suite Bone Marrow Transplant beds which are part-funded by Teenage Cancer Trust on Ward 33b
