Rosie Vare
Health Information Manager
My role
My role as Health Information Manager involves creating and updating high-quality, age-appropriate, accessible cancer information for young people with cancer. I’m responsible for all of our information, both digital and print.
I work closely with young people with cancer and the health and social care professionals who work with them to find out what we need to provide and how we can do it in the most accessible and useful way possible.
You can find all of our digital information here and you can see our books about cancer here.
If you have any feedback, questions or ideas I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch on [email protected] and I’ll get back to you.
How we produce information
We follow a strict process when we produce information for young people. We have to make sure that the information we provide answers the questions young people might have about their symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and what happens once they’ve finished treatment.
We follow the PIF Tick process and involve young people and health and social care professionals in every stage of our information development.
